The Cullen coven has moved to a sleepy little town
called Kirkland, Scotland. It’s been ten years since the showdown
with the Volturi. They had to move around a lot, but now that
Nessie isn’t growing any more they have been able to settle in a
long term home. . For now they are living on of the cloudiest place
in a the world, Scotland Highlands. It averages between 700 and
1000 hours of sunshine a year(note there are over 8000 hours in a year).

Kirkhill held a little surprise for the Cullen family, a new pack of
shape shifters. This time they aren’t wolves but foxes. It took some
getting use to but the foxes, vampires, and wolves are becoming a
tight nit group. As well as the new shifters, Nahuel and Huilen, are
now a part of the Cullen coven. Support for the Cullen way of life is
growing though out the vampire world.

The most interesting of the additions is a vampire with a strange
but highly useful power. She has the ability to integrate the
supernatural into the human world. It’s difficult to explain but it’s as
if humans don’t notice that they are different and that they don’t
age and it means that they may have to move less often but only
time will tell. The theory is that she is some kind of mental shield.

Well the Cullen’s raise in power, come the Volturi’s fall. In the time
sense the showdown the Volturi have been loseing support
dramatically in the vampire world. It was becoming clear that they
weren’t going to wait for another reason to attack the Cullen clan,
and this time it would be a fight. When the decision was finally
made Alice had her vision. It was very unclear, seeings as there
were two hybids and two packs of shifters there, but the one thing
that was clear. Nessie kills Renata. She is the only on that can get
though her shield and make it a fair fight. It’s would seem that
Edward’s theory was right and she is an anti-shield. It seems the
Cullen’s have a fight to prepare for and it all goes down when the
full moon is rising.
